Had a few updated done at our home. Just so glad we chosen Nightingale Electrical to be our service provider. Complete satisfacton every step of the way
--- edited as of September 10, 2025I had a great experience with this company the first time. The second time was not so great. I had two orders - one to replace a ballast on the light and another to replace the thermostat. I cancelled one, and ultimately was charged for both. The e-mail exchanges between the company and myself with respect to these invoicing issues were confused and confusing - and I eventually gave up.The other negative experience I had is that the workers that provide the quote and the workers perform the work are sometimes not the same. I think the communication needs to improve - somehow - before I consider hiring them again.Neil installed some lights for my strata unit. I appreciated the honest advice he gave me throughout the day. He was efficient and although the end product was not necessarily what my wife wanted - it was functional and effective.
They couldn't be bothered with my small job. I called their service department and the first thing they asked was the name of my company. I explained it's for a resident and the man started humming and hawing making it clear he didn't want my business. He then took my number and said he'd have someone in the service department call me. HE was the service department. The receptionist forwarded me to the service department. He said as much when he picked up the phone. Way to insult my intelligence. Needless to say I didn't get a call back. Very rude. Very unprofessional. I'm quite insulted. I gave my business to Kato Electrical, who were more than happy to send someone out within a few days. Thanks, Kato!
As a homeowner in Richmond, BC, my realtor recommended Nightingale Electrical when I first bought my house and I have used them for all of my electrical needs. Recently I had to call them as one of my circuits was burned out and my fridge was not working. They responded very promptly and fixed my issue in the same afternoon! Excellent customer service from the technician Gavin - thank you so much!
I am deeply disappointed by the service we received from Nightingale for electrical work done in our building at 725 Marine Drive, North Vancouver back in 2018. We recently had issue with a microwave that caused a buzzing noise in the breaker box, and after a thorough investigation, it was discovered that the problem originated from an electrical outlet installation carried out by Nightingale. The shocking part is that, instead of safely removing the wires during installation, they were inexplicably cut, creating not only an inconvenience but a serious safety hazard. This issue has been ongoing for some time,Our primary concern is the safety of our residents and the quality of workmanship in our building. We expected better service and accountability, especially considering this work was carried out in 2018 in a brand-new building.I urge anyone considering services from Nightingale to exercise caution and due diligence. We are still awaiting a response and a resolution to this issue, and we hope that the company takes immediate and responsible action to address this matter.
