Daniel from E I Electrical Inc. did an outstanding job working on the electrical system in my condo. My building was constructed in 1967 and still had the original Federal Pacific electrical panel, so replacing it was a serious and potentially dangerous project. From the beginning, Daniel had no hesitation and was very confident in his ability to safely handle the replacement.

The process started with a phone call to their office. The woman who helped schedule my appointment was polite, professional, and explained that Daniel would be my electrician. She also informed me that there is a fee for the initial quote. At first I was a little taken aback, but it was explained that if I moved forward with the company, that amount would be applied toward the total cost of the project. If I decided not to move forward, then the quote fee would simply cover the electrician’s time. While it was unexpected at first, I understood the reasoning, and I’m glad I looked past it because the work they provided was absolutely worth it.

Daniel first came out to evaluate the situation and provide the quote. During that visit he was also able to fix several other issues around my condo, including a light that wasn’t working, an outlet that had stopped working, and safely closing up some exposed wiring.

We then scheduled a second appointment for the electrical panel replacement. Daniel arrived on time and worked with great care and attention to detail throughout the job. Considering the age of the building and the fact that the original panel from 1967 was still installed, this was not a simple project. He handled it with professionalism, efficiency, and clear expertise.

Daniel was kind, knowledgeable, and respectful of my home. He took the time to explain what he was doing and made sure everything was completed safely and correctly. You can tell he takes pride in his work.

For the amount of work completed, the timeliness of the project, and the professionalism of the entire team, I found the pricing to be fair and reasonable. One thing that did catch me off guard was that the company passes along the credit card processing fee (about 3%) to the customer, and they do not accept money orders. To avoid the additional fee, I chose to withdraw cash for the second portion of my payment. While that was a minor inconvenience, it wasn’t a dealbreaker considering the quality of the work.

Overall, the quality of the work and the peace of mind knowing the job was done properly made it well worth it.

I’m very glad I chose E I Electrical Inc. to work on my condo. For any future electrical needs, they will definitely be my first call.

E1 Electrical provided excellent electrical service. I called them recently to make an appointment for replacement of three hardwired smoke detectors that reached their 10 year life span and were chirping. Joe sent a really good electrician to my house within 2 hours. David N. got the job done and replaced the old smoke detectors with compatible new ones that he bought since I didn’t know what to get. He even went into the attic to check the connection of one of the detectors that wasn’t working properly. Very happy with their service and would recommend them to others.

We needed a 240V outlet for our new electric vehicle, but our home has an unusual electrical configuration: 200 amps total, with 125 amps split into two sub-panels that first go through a Tesla solar gateway, and two Powerwalls.

Dan was punctual, clearly and cheerfully explained various configuration options and their relative costs, and was very patient with our questions. We hadn't selected a charger for the new outlet yet, so he also helped me select one online, explaining the pros and cons of each.

The installation was neat and clean inside and outside our garage, and we are happily charging our new EV at high-speed!

The next day, Dan answered even more questions via text. A true professional.

I needed an electrician to install my new wired Nest video doorbell. EI responded quickly to my Yelp project request and was able to come out the same day to get the job done. JP arrived on time and got the work done quickly. The estimated cost was discussed before the job started, and after completion was lower because of the lesser cost of the supplies used. Excellent! JP stayed to make sure that I got the video features up and running before he left. He also explained to me what was done and knowing that the job was done correctly and safely is such a relief. The area is clean and everything was installed perfectly. I highly recommend EI and will definitely be getting them to come back when I need more jobs done around the house. I really appreciate their great communication and efficiency.
