Recent reviews frequently praise clear communication, walkthroughs with multiple price options, and clean EV charger and lighting installs. Some customers highlight technicians’ flexibility when unexpected issues arise. A smaller set of reviews raise concerns about high estimates, pushy upsell experiences, and job-site cleanliness. Overall sentiment trends positive with many noting professional demeanor and solid workmanship.
Tech did not bring booties or offer to take shoes off. Ripped breaker box off the wall, causing paint to tear. Did not bring vacuum to clean up after himself. Broke a screw, did not even acknowledge that, then left, visibly annoyed that we didn't go for his 12k estimate right away. Did not send estimates as promised, had to reach out to the office.Terrible experience, damaged home. Holding my breath as to whether this company will offer any version of a recovery.Thoroughly disappointed and upset, def do not recommend.
Nathan installed my Ring cams and various electrical projects, and was able to be quick on his toes when the unexpected happened andwhen we ran into issues with my HVAC outdoor electrical. Thank you for being flexible, communicative, friendly, and a job excellently done!
I had a very disappointing experience with Nick from Mister Sparky.I originally scheduled an appointment simply to have a ceiling fan installed. The fan was already assembled and just needed to be mounted and wired. When Nick arrived, he said he needed to perform a full home electrical evaluation first, which I was fine with. However, after looking at the panel, he began making alarming statements like, “I’m surprised the breaker isn’t constantly shorting out,” and “It’s not if, but when this causes a major problem.” I was in the middle of work, so I called my husband so he could speak with him directly. We were then told the panel was in very bad shape and needed immediate replacement.Nick sent over three options: $24,000, $15,000, and $11,000 — stating the $11,000 option would “just make the home safe.” The urgency and tone felt extremely high-pressure. When we said we wanted a second opinion, he appeared offended and made comments like, “We are the best,” “We wouldn’t be in business if we overcharged,” and even compared it to questioning a doctor recommending a heart transplant. (Yes, I absolutely would get a second opinion in that situation.) When I mentioned my uncle is a master electrician, he responded, “Then why isn’t he here to install your fan?” Because he was out of town and I didn't want him to go out of his way to just put up a fan. After declining the panel work, I asked for the price to simply install the fan — it was nearly $600.For context, I work in real estate and review inspection reports regularly, including electrical panels that genuinely need replacement. I have never seen numbers that high. That raised serious red flags.I contacted one of our trusted electricians, who I should have called first but didn't want to waste his time with something so simple he is very busy. He came out within 30 minutes of Nick leaving, thoroughly inspected everything, and confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with our panel. He is a two-time master electrician and electrical engineer, so I trust his expertise. He installed the fan for $100 in under 20 minutes and even serviced the panel for peace of mind. The entire experience felt unnecessarily alarming and high-pressure. I checked reviews before booking and was surprised given how positive they were. Unfortunately, this was not our experience at all. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any major electrical work. And I would not have Mister Sparky be your first, second or third choice!!
I am very satisfied with my experience with Mister Sparky. I got to personally work with Caleb and he exceeded my expectations. We recently got an EV and needed to install an at home charger. He did a complete walkthrough of our home and gave several options. The install was exactly what I wanted and is working out great! Highly recommend this company. They are thorough, professional, personable, and not pushy like some of the other companies out there. Will definitely work with them in the future.
Bon gave me estimate on installing a new breaker box and even showed me 3 options with different prices . He also explained I could get financing. Very nice young man, he diffently did an awesome job. Today 10/31/25 Burton came with a co worker to install an amazing job!
